Characters I Would Cast in Behind the Scenes

Hello everyone! First of all, thank you to Giselle for hosting me on her blog for the SBPT Tour.☺

I went with Behind the Scenes by Dahlia Adler for this post–not necessarily because it was one of my favorite books, but because it’s a recent one that I had gotten really into. I was also in the middle of Under the Lights (the sequel) while researching actors/actresses, so the major characters were way more fresh in my mind than any of the characters in my absolute favorite reads.

This was my first dreamcast! Hopefully I did alright with it. I found all my picks through searching Google and trying to find people that fit the characters (at least, by appearance).

Arden Cho as Vanessa Park

Vanessa is a Korean American and Arden Cho fits the image I have in my mind the most. She’s played on Teen Wolf, which I’ve heard is a great show. Even though I haven’t seen her act, she’s probably pretty good.

Shailene Woodley as Ally Duncan

It took me forever to find someone to Ally and I finally settled on Shailene Woodley. I can see her acting in certain scenes as Ally. Plus, she has done a decent job in other movies as a teen.

Grey Damon as Liam Holloway

Liam is a really nice and respectful guy with brown hair and a really nice body. I came across Grey Damon and he just seemed to click with Liam. I’m not familiar with is acting, but he does look the part.

Cody Longo as Josh Chester

I have to admit that I don’t know much about Josh’s appearance, but when after I came across Cody Longo, I started picturing him to be what Josh looks like. I’m a little shaky on this casting because Cody looks so nice and I’m not familiar with his acting. He would have to play a complete jerk that manages to still be a decent friend to Liam.

Have you read Behind the Scenes? Did I do alright with these casting choices?

Thanks so much Kaitlin! Visit her blog and follow her on Twitter. Tune in next Sunday for the next stop on the tour!

I haven’t read this book, so I can’t say what my choices would be. But yours sounds pretty darn good!
