For the week of January 13-19, 2013

Hey Book Nerds!!

A weekly recap of all the posts are listed below. Make sure to drop by and comment! I love reading your comments and feedback <3

Weekly Updates

So many awesome titles in this one! I don’t know how I can keep up. I couldn’t resist checking out the YA section at my local library and picked up some smaller reads. I absolutely can’t wait to read The Outsiders, and Ink! *squeals*

I’ve also been super busy just organizing a list of things to do, and what to read in the next couple of months that I haven’t even cracked open a book! But no worries. I’m determined to meet all my deadlines for my clients, and I’m still job hunting. I applied to be a Web Designer for Penguin Canada, and I really hope I get a call back..*crosses fingers*

I also got invited by Penguin for their First Blogger Night!  It was so much fun, sadly I was running on low energy and stressing out about the time since I had to leave early, but it all worked out well in the end. Recap post to come!

Until next week Book Nerds! *salutes*

I’m really looking forward to Ally Carter’s book signing in Toronto. Gonna be EPIC! I have to read the Heist Society books again to refresh before I read the newest one coming out. I read the Outsiders way back when as well, VERY good! The setting is fab.

Ok, I just gotta say… I am so totally jealous that you got Level 2 from Simon & Schuster! I have wanted to read that one since I first heard about it!

Also, I’m a fellow Canadian and I’m only like an hour from Toronto…. are there going to be any book blogger get togethers?? I’d really love to go and meet some more Canadian bloggers and book lovers!!

Anyway, great book haul! I’d love to be in with the publishers and receive books early…. but I’m not nearly as good a blogger as I want to be! LOL

    Happy Reading!!!

      Hi Rose!!

There is most definitely an Ontario Book Blogger meet-up in November! Other than that, it’s most book signings around the GTA :D I have my calendar up there *points to the navigation* where you can see the listed events!

Ok, I am all kinds of surprised this week by you! You’ve never read Uglies!? OR Uncommon Criminals!? I actually haven’t ever read Outsiders either for some reason which I’ve always thought was rather ridiculous since I’m a Librarian and also an English Teacher, but it just never sounds good to me for some reason. Oh well. Ink sounds SO good! I love that cover! You had a fabulous haul this week dearie! Awesome! I’m going to have to check out what that 5th Wave is all about! I haven’t even heard about it. hmmmm. Happy reading!
