For the week of February 3rd-10th, 2013

Hey Book Nerds!!

A weekly recap of all the posts are listed below. Make sure to drop by and comment! I love reading your comments and feedback <3

Weekly Updates

Biggest news that I have this week is that I am now officially a Web Designer for Penguin Canada blushes I got the job!  😀 So what does this mean for the blog? I’m cutting down my posting schedule from 6-7 a week to about 3-4 instead.  I am hoping to keep 2-3 reviews per week on the blog as well. That way I can still keep up with the blog, and not feel too overwhelmed with the amount of posts I have to keep writing. Yay! Also, I will still have time to work on freelance blog designs on the side.

In other news,I also attended the Beautiful Creatures advanced screening last Wednesday. All I can say is that my movie review will be up on Valentine’s Day when it hits theatres 😛

I was also invited to the Random House Canada Blogger Love Fest 2.0 event held at their main office. Special guest author Andrew Kaufman was there, and I just have to say I can’t wait to read BORN WEIRD. Had soo much fun talking to everyone there, that my voice is a little hoarse as you can tell from my video up above. (My goodbye made me laugh..)

Until next week Book Nerds! salutes

Chip Kidd’s design for 1Q84 is probably one of my favourite book designs ever! I love it so much I splurged on the hardcover, and I’m actually really tempted to buy the three book slipcase paperback set (so, so pretty!). Then now I see there’s even a single volume paperback!

P.S. The sippy cup is awesome!
