Recap: Random House Canada Blogger Fest 2.0

So excited to be invited to be part of RHC’s Blogger Love Fest again! Loved seeing the staff and getting to talk books with fellow bloggers as well.

This day coincided with my interview with Ally Carter and I was really determined to make it. Sadly I couldn’t because Mother  Nature decided to dump about 30 of snow the day before. My brother and I shoveled about 2x then realized the snow plow blocked the driveway and not with freshly powdered snow, but with a layer of ice top with heavy packing snow underneath. With that in mind, I texted Ardo @ A. E. Wordsmith to go in and interview Ally instead of myself. Thanks so much Ardo! Here’s her interview with Ally.

The amazing Random House staff introduced themselves where they each talked about some of the books they were anticipating.

One of the slides included blurbs from last year’s Code Name Verity! So nice to see our blurbs on the screen, I just had to take a photo 😛

As always we book bloggers found our way there and gabbed the day away. I distinctly remember telling Michele @ Just a ‘Lil Lost about my own ghostly experience.

AH! I’m super jealous that you have things like this in Canada! In Maryland, it’s rare to have these sort of blogger events. Even book signings and author events in general are rare in Maryland. They’d much rather go to DC, or even better, New York City. Anyway, it looks like you had an awesome time! 😀
