What girl doesn't want to be surrounded by gorgeous jocks day in and day out? Jordan Woods isn't just surrounded by hot guys, though-she leads them as the captain and quarterback of her high school football team. They all see her as one of the guys and that's just fine. As long as she gets her athletic scholarship to a powerhouse university.

But everything she's ever worked for is threatened when Ty Green moves to her school. Not only is he an amazing QB, but he's also amazingly hot. And for the first time, Jordan's feeling vulnerable. Can she keep her head in the game while her heart's on the line?

I really enjoyed this book! The characters are fun and truthful and most of all true to themselves. I love how Jordan is determined to get a football scholarship even though she would be subjected as being a girl quarterback.

Her relationship with Jordan is a wonderful example of best friends and I quite loved how they were so comfortable together. It was pretty obvious that Sam was in love with her. It was sweet, and as much as Ty was such a hottie and a good guy I was definitely gunning for Henry!

Can I just comment on the very realistic eating habits of these teenage football players?? I loved how much they gorged on food. It just reminds me of my boyfriend and his best friends.

Loved this book! It’s been such a great read. I highly recommend it for a light fun read!

Not only can I teach you math, I can teach you math in bed, Jordan. You know, I’ll add the bed, you subtract the clothes, you divide the legs, and I’ll multiply. (29)
You might get hungry for this hunk of man meat. (33)
I like being with girls who have actual brain activity. Girls like you. (71)
But is a good guy worth the rush of losing sight of my goals? My dreams? (73)
That if you spend too much time dreaming, you’ll stop actually doing. And when you actually do stuff, there’s a good chance things will work out. We make things happen by attacking, not by sitting around dreaming. (95)
You don’t need anyone’s permission to do what you love. You should just do it. (157)

I LOVED this book. I read it late last year, and I couldn’t believe how long I waited to finally read it. I loved that the MC was a chick who was a QB for her high school team! Awesome. I loved every character in the book, the story. All of it! I haven’t had a chance to read Stealing Parker or Things I Can’t Forget yet, but I am eagerly waiting for my opportunity!

I have not yet read Catching Jordan, although I’ve heard so much about both this book and its sequel, Stealing Parker. While some people said that Catching Jordan didn’t pack as much of a punch, I think your review totally sealed the deal for me. I always love reading your quick, to-the-point reviews.

I read this novel a few months ago and really enjoyed it. It’s The kind of fresh read that help readers to spend a good time with often a smile playing. I’m eager to read the companion books.

Thanks so much for your review. I was actually given this book by a friend recently and I have not yet read it. At times I love reading novels that are really in depth and requiring a lot of thinking but other times, I love reading light-hearted novels that are fun and leave you with a pleasant feeling. Thanks again, I am off to read the book. 🙂
