The sky is dark with wings....

Like sand through an hourglass, time is running out for Luce and Daniel. To stop Lucifer from erasing the past, they must find the place where the angels fell to earth.

Dark forces are after them, and Daniel doesn’t know if he can do this — live only to lose Luce again and again. Yet together they face an epic battle that will end with lifeless bodies...and angel dust. Great sacrifices are made. Hearts are destroyed.

And suddenly Luce knows what must happen. For she was meant to be with someone other than Daniel. The curse they’ve borne has always and only been about her — and the love she cast aside. The choice she makes now is the only one that truly matters.

In the fight for Luce, who will win?

Rapture is the astonishing conclusion to the Fallen series. Heaven can’t wait any longer.

Lots of action in this one. I’m glad to say they finally have a mission. To stop Lucifer from erasing mankind and the world as we know it? Sign me up! How I wished these novels had Lucifer as the villain from the very beginning. It would make a lot more sense. Instead there was a disconnect with Sophia and the Elders and not to mention the Scale.

So annoying how determined Luce was to find out what her past life was. How no one could tell her?? Yet she wouldn’t get angry at anyone? Luce seemed so emotionless (minus her nausating love for Daniel at times) that I kind of wanted to shake her! Some dialogue made me roll my eyes and the amount of nauseating love scenes made me want to laugh, but I usually skipped those scenes and went onto the better ones.

What can I say? This book redeemed the entire series for me. It was truly a page turner and kept me at the edge of my seat. I loved how there was finally an overall goal in the entire novel and we welcome all the secondary characters in all their glory.

The ending is what really made me enjoy it. FINALLY! The history of the angels, the questions all answered, an ending that made me whoop for joy. Action, suspense, mystery and romance all rolled into one Rapture made me want to pick up more angel themed books!

There no darkness as dark as a great light corrupted.
You are the soul that fits into mine.
Our love is endless. There can be nothing else.
All that is good in Heaven and on Earth is made of love. Maybe that wasn’t your plan when you created the universe—maybe love was just one aspect of a complicated and brutal world. But love was the best thing you made, and it has become the only thing worth saving. This war is not just. This war is not good. Love is the only thing worth fighting for.
He has captured my heart. He loves me for who I am, not what I can bring to him.
Mortality is the most romantic story ever told. Just one chance to do everything you should. Then magically, you move on.
It’s just, do you ever feel like nothing has happened to you? Like you know you have a destiny, but all you’ve seen of life so far is unexceptional? I want my life to be different. I want to feel that it’s begun. I’m waiting for that kiss. But sometimes u feel like I could wait forever and nothing would ever change.

Love your review! I’ve got a copy of Rapture but I’m afraid to read it! :)) But after reading your review, I kind of wanted to read it soon. I agree with you about Luce being “emotionless”. She didn’t even got angry.

I really do hope this book brings justice to the series. I can’t wait to end this beautiful series. Will read this soon. Thank you!

I’ve heard a lot about this series and everyone seems to love it. So far I haven’t found an angel book that I *love* but your review has definitely peaked my interest. It’s good to see that everything will come together in the end. Glad you enjoyed the book!
