Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. For the week of July 1–7, 2012
Bought a couple of books, but not a lot. I’m trying to stop the book buying! I hope everyone is enjoying the weather, even though it’s so humid. What did you get this week?
Bringing her years of magazine publishing, web design, graphic design and multimedia experience, she manages her own book blog at booknerd.ca where her love of books is shared with the entire world.(Quite literally!) She prefers reading teen books, but also enjoys children and adult reads. In her spare time she also enjoys writing, design, music, scrap-booking, knitting, movies, and photography. Visit her portfolio at gsanmiguel.ca.
Awesome haul! I had no idea that Hilary Duff had written some books! I’ll have to check them out.
I seriously have no idea where you put all your books, lol I have two tiny book shelves which are packed and I’m now struggling to find places for more books, I don’t know what I’d do if I got as many books as you each week!
I actually just got around to starting Vampire Academy the other day, yesterday maybe. I’m a little over halfway and like it so far, so hopefully you like the series!
A song of Fire and Ice is pretty amazing! I’ve read the first 3 and loved them, just need to find time to get back to reading them.
I hope you enjoy all your new reads! Happy reading and have a great week!
I’ve been wanting to read Hilary Duff’s books for a while now. I saw them once and then never saw them in the store again, lol! I will have to add them to my list and keep a look out for them.
Enjoy your books and good luck with the buying ban, lol! I’ve been trying to stop too, but it’s SO hard
Happy reading!!!
I admire your attempt not to buy books — I am struggling through that myself. Can’t walk into a Chapters without wanting to buy SOMETHING!
AHHH! You haven’t read the Vampire Academy series yet?!?! You MUST put that high up on the to-read list. I haven’t finished it but I devoured the first three sooo quickly. They are FANTASTIC!
Love your books this week and your new blog layout too =).
Nice list of books this week. I bought Spirit Bound as well but I gave it away in a giveaway. Amazon had it for an awesome price! Book Sniffers Anonymous
I have been wanting to read Elixir for a while now – the Goodreads reviews were not very good, but I really want to like the book because I like Hilary Duff. Can’t wait to see what you think about it.
Once!! I’m so jealous of that one! I tried really hard to stick to my list for my purchases though and others were higher priority. Here’s Our Week in Books at Libby Blog. Happy reading!
Haha I know what you mean bout needing to stop buying books!
I hope you enjoy Game of Thrones! I wanted to love it but I just couldn’t get crazy about it. I LOVED the overall story but I felt like it moved way too slowly and there were too many characters I didn’t care about (but had to read from their POV). I seem to be in the minority though so I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
Haha I’m trying to slow down on the book buying too! The Vindico is one that looks really good to me and I STILL need to get started on the Vampire Academy series!
Another week of awesome books for you! I’m really curious about Blood Magic and the sequel The Blood Keeper. I’m super excited for The Dead I Know tour. Enjoy the books you got this week Happy reading!
AWESOME haul! I’m so jealous! You really got a bunch of books I’ve been wanting to get my hands on. The Vampire Academy series is epic, I hope you enjoy Spirit Bound!
*Does double take* Is that Hillary Duff as in old actress-singer Hillary Duff? Or is it a different one? Is she an author now? Wow I really need to read her books soon! -.- I’m also really jealous of A Want So Wicked and Once, even though I have to read both of those sequels! -.- I hope you enjoy though!
