Lara Jean didn’t expect to really fall for Peter.
She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren’t. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever.
When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean’s feelings for him return too. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?
In this charming and heartfelt sequel to the New York Times bestsellerTo All the Boys I've Loved Before, we see first love through the eyes of the unforgettable Lara Jean. Love is never easy, but maybe that’s part of what makes it so amazing.
I wasn’t going into this sequel with high expectations, because I liked P.S. I Still Love You, but I didn’t love it. So glad I kept going with the dualogy because I loved it so much more.
We get to see Lara Jean in a romantic relationship (finally!) and then there’s a new boy that gets thrown in the mix which I found to be more of a plot device at first. But I remember being Lara Jean’s age and being super indecisive about boys. So naturally I let this one slide. How can you choose between two wonderful boys whom you both love? It’s quite impossible. I do love how Jenny Han skillfully shows how each boy is different for Lara Jean. Obviously I was rooting for one of them, and even though I was waiting for a huge climatic ending, I was still sad by her decision. I loved Lara’s growth more than anything and as always Kitty loves to steal the show. I also love how we get to see more sisterly love between the three. I remember Jenny saying at her signing that she was inspired by Little Women, and I can honestly feel the exact same vibe from it. Lara Jean and her sexual conversation with Peter was hilarious..I couldn’t stop laughing at that part.
My heart is so full right now.. AHHH cute and such an adorable love story. Go pick it up if you want a smile on your face because I was left with one!
