So many sequels I’m waiting for..But these are my top ten that I can’t wait to get my hands on. These are in no particular order.
Golden Son (Red Rising Trilogy #2) by Pierce Brown
Of course this sequel had to end up on my list. I pre-ordered this one already. I’m insanely jealous of everyone who has e-ARCs and have read it already. It’s one of those books that I’m just dying to know what happens next.
The Mime Order by Samantha Shannon
Easily one of my favourite reads, The Bone Season had it all..Mystery, action, adventure, dystopian with a parnormal twist. I requested this from NetGalley and they accepted my request so guess what I’ll be reading next? I know I’m already addicted to this series..Can’t wait for the rest of the series. I believe there’s 7 in total!
The Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson
After that ending, I know that this one is going to find its way on my to-buy list. I loved that we were kept in the dark as to which guy was which the entire time we were reading it.
Of Dreams and Rust (Of Metal and Wishes #2) by Sarah Fine
This is the only book that I haven’t read its first book yet..But I can’t help but stare at this cover..It’s so beautiful! Bonus points for also having a diverse main character on the cover.
Shadow Scale (Seraphina #2) by Rachel Hartman
Another one I thought would be a stand-a-lone, so imagine to my surprise when this one showed up. One fantasy genre that is hard to write about is dragons, but Rachel has a wonderful writing style that is so beautiful that I know I can’t wait for this one.
A Cold Legacy by Megan Shepherd
I pretty much devoured the first two books in this trilogy and I know I’m biding my time until I can pounce on this one. Inspired by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, you know that Megan is going to twist and turn our hearts AGAIN.
Lair of Dreams (The Diviners #2) by Libba Bray
This one was pushed back until next year, but it doesn’t matter since I know Libba will give it her best shot. I love her books, her writing style is very long and intricate, but that’s also why she does her job well. I really thought Diviners would be just one book, but I guess not.
Ensnared (Splintered #3) by A.G. Howard
Loved Splintered so much..Who can write Alice in the Wonderland in a twisty and dark fashion? A.G. Howard, that’s who! As for retellings, she does it very well. Though I haven’t read the second book yet..
Ignite by Sara B. Larson
Not a lot of people loved the first one Defy, but I really enjoyed it immensely. Maybe the romance takes a while to sink in for others?
Conspiracy of Blood and Smoke by Anne Blankman
I finished reading Prisoner of Night and Fog earlier and I just knew I couldn’t wait to read it right away, so I did. It was exactly what I needed after the first book and I pretty much teared through most of it. Now I’m just waiting until everyone else reads it, so we can discuss!
