Waiting on Wednesday #62: ‘Racing Savannah’ by Miranda Kenneally

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, Hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

Racing Savannah

Hundred Oaks #4

Miranda Kenneally

Publication Date:

Sourcebooks Fire

Paperback, 304 pages

They’re from two different worlds.

He lives in the estate house, and she spends most of her time in the stables helping her father train horses. In fact, Savannah has always been much more comfortable around horses than boys. Especially boys like Jack Goodwin—cocky, popular and completely out of her league. She knows the rules: no mixing between the staff and the Goodwin family. But Jack has no such boundaries.

With her dream of becoming a horse jockey, Savannah isn’t exactly one to follow the rules either. She’s not going to let someone tell her a girl isn’t tough enough to race. Sure, it’s dangerous. Then again, so is dating Jack…

Good Reads

Miranda has become one of my favourite contemporary authors to date, so I’m always excited to read one from her. This one sounds like a great read!

What do you think about my pick for Waiting on Wednesday this week?

I must say that even though I’m tired of seeing the boy-and-girl-with-heads-cut-off covers, this one is fun! I think it’s all the green grass and the yellow rain boots 🙂 I’m still a country girl at heart!

Great pick! I really need to start this series, but how does it work? Can I read Stealing Parker before Catching Jordan, or do I have to read them in order?

I’ve never read of Miranda’s books! I hear that they are great contemporary novels, but I never got around to reading them. Perhaps if they are in my public library, I shall pick up the entire series! 😀
