Book Haul: Stacking the Shelves #30

stacking the shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks. Join the meme at Tynga’s Reviews.

For the week of November 25th-December 1st, 2012

Hey Book Nerds!!

A week recap of all the posts are listed below. Make sure to drop by and comment! I love reading your comments and feedback <3

Weekly Updates

So I managed to get some reviews on the blog this week which isn’t so bad, but sometimes I forget how much time and effort I put into my reviews. Not only do I have to think of what to say, I also have to remember what happened. That can become a problem when I’ve read books over a year ago. This is why spoiler reviews help me so much. I really wished someone would actually create a book blog that’s ALL spoiler reviews.

Tweeked the blog a bit since it’s December 1st! It’s all Christmas-y! My favourite holiday of the year! I reworked the look of my reviews, and even added a rating plugin called Easy Review Builder. It’s so much easier to rate the different aspects of a book now.  I also added headers, and rollover buy buttons but they’re not aligned yet.

Until next week Book Nerds! Salutes

I’ve have to get my hands on The Puffin Classics Deluxe Collection, I love those covers plus I’ve always wanted to read all those books (although I’ve already read Black Beauty and Call of the Wild), really want to try Peter Pan the most.

I have to start reading my copy of Origin soon and Gods and Warriors looks really good, I love the black tinted pages!

    Happy reading! 🙂

I almost want to ignore all the other books and keep drooling over the Puffin classics. I can’t even decide which one is my favourite, cover-wise. Maybe Call of the Wild. I kind of really want it, but not every single one interests me, and I still love my older Anne of Green Gables. I do have really nice, similar Jane Austen ones though.

I know what you mean, writing reviews can take A LOT of time and effort. Your not alone there.

Wow, The Puffins Classics set looks amazing! I love it. I’ve hardly read many classics but would like to. I don’t know whether or not your planning to review any of them but I’d love to hear your thoughts on them 🙂

    Enjoy your books!

Nice bunch! I’m in love of The Puffin Classics Set, soo cute!!! I hope you enjoy your new readings (I’ll be waiting for your review of Sirens).

I can’t agree more with you! sometimes it is very hard to remember all the details of a book to write a review, I think I said it before, but I really like the changes in the web & I hope you consider adding a post on your newbie’s guide about that wonderful rating plugin (Easy Review Builder) =D
